As a former student of Leichhardt Primary, I vividly recall the library's presence and its importance in my academic journey. It served as a haven for learning and exploration, a place where imaginations soared amidst the pages of countless books.

The decision to sell and demolish this cherished public institution remains a source of frustration and disappointment. The relocation of Leichhardt Library to a distant private complex called The Forum has left a void in the heart of the community, distancing itself from its educational roots.
